Deep Tissue Massage, Remedial and Sports Injury

Deep Tissue massage is designed to relieve severe tension in the muscle and the connective tissue. This type of massage focuses on the muscles located below the surface of the top muscles. Deep tissue massage is recommended for individuals who experience consistent pain, are involved in heavy physical activity, such as athletes, and patients who have sustained physical injury.

This invigorating deep vibratory method of massage is designed to assist achieve figure improvement plans more quickly by stimulating the circulatory system. The vitalising G5 Massage also helps relieve muscular pain in addition to producing the effect of beautifully toned skin. It is ideal for Anti Cellulite Reduction Treatments, (a course is recommended for this!)
G5 Massage can be used in conjunction with massage to give fantastic results:

Sports Therapy & G5 Massage: Used by therapists in the field of sports therapy, this massage can provide deep cleansing to the muscle tissues removing the toxin build up of lactic acid and excess carbon dioxide. The results from a course of G5 massage are reliable and effective in improving circulation through the blood, lymphatic & muscular systems.

Pre/Post Liposuction & G5 Massage: Completing a course of G5 prior to liposuction can be beneficial in the breakdown of fat cells. Post surgical G5 massage is excellent in improving the skins smooth contour reducing the ‘orange peel’ cellulite effect. It is essential to complete G5 as a course when working in this specialist area.

Therapeutic Relaxation & G5 Massage: G5 as an individual treatment for those wishing to experience the benefits of tissue exfoliation, general cleansing of the body tissues & deep massage for relaxation. G5 can be adapted for treatments such as reflexology & lymphatic drainage.



Reflexology Massage*

If you wish to restore balance to both body and mind why not try out reflexology treatment!
Fingers are used on the pressure points of the feet or hands it is believed symptoms can be alleviated including, high blood pressure, hormonal problems, stress, anxiety, arthritis and migraines. This can be found to be profoundly relaxing or invigorating! Treatments can last between 30 and 60 minutes.






Hot Stone Therapy

A stone massage uses cold or water-heated stones to apply pressure and heat to the body. Stones coated in oil can also be used by the therapist delivering various massaging strokes. The heat from the stones relaxes muscles, increase the blood flow to the area being worked on which further accelerates the healing process. This increase in circulation and the relaxation of the muscles also aids in mental relaxation.




Swedish Massage

The term "Swedish" massage is not really known in the country of Sweden, where it is called "classic massage". Swedish massage uses five styles of long, flowing strokes to massage. The five basic strokes are Effleurage (light touch), Petrissage (kneading), Tapotement (rhythmic tapping), Friction (compression), and vibration. Swedish massage has shown to be helpful in reducing pain, joint stiffness. It has also been shown to be helpful in individuals with poor circulation.




Thai Bodyworks

Thai massage originated in India and is based on Ayurveda and Yoga. The technique combines massage with yoga-like positions during the course of the massage; our Thai Bodyworks contain the western twist of being done on a couch and no oil is used.





Thermal-Auricular Therapy

A gentle soothing painless therapy for balancing pressure in the ears and is especially helpful for earache, headache, ear noise stress, sinus blockages, glue ear, head colds, heyfever and nervousness. One end of a cylinder or cone of waxed cloth is lit, and the other placed into your ear, the flame creates negative pressure, drawing wax and debris out of the ear canal. An ear candling session can last from 20 minutes to 45 minutes.





Aromatherapy

With the use of specially blended oils, use with massage can be tailored to your specific mood or ailment, this can also be used for skin and scalp conditions, or as a treatment to help reduce the appearance of cellulite.





Indian Head Massage

Used in India for over 500 years, the massage of the head, shoulders, face and back help to reduce stress, tension headaches, sinus problems and is ideal “quick fix”. Can be done with or without oils and with or without clothes too!





Crystal Healing

Crystals are placed on different parts of the body corresponding to the Chakras, or placed around the body to construct an energy grid, which surrounds you with healing energy. The healing removes blockages in the aura or the body's electromagnetic field. This treatment lasts 20 min and is the perfect addition to a Swedish massage, for that little something extra!





Decongestive Therapy or Manual Lymph Drainage

Manual manipulation of the lymphatic ducts consists of gentle, rhythmic massaging of the skin to stimulate the flow of lymph and its return to the blood circulation system. In the blood’s passage through the kidneys, the excess fluid is filtered out and eliminated from the body through urination. The treatment is very gentle and a typical session will involve drainage of the neck,
torso, and involved extremity (in that order), lasting approximately 40 to 60 minutes. Decongestive Therapy is generally effective on non-fibrotic lymph oedema and less effective on more fibrotic legs, although it has shown to help break up fibrotic tissue.





Reiki*

Is found to be a very gentle healing process, Healing energy is transferred to you via the therapist. This releases emotional, spiritual and physical blocks. Reiki can aid healing on many levels and encourage personal growth. Lasts for about 60 minutes.





Herbal Medicine*

Can be made to your specific ailment, including teas, oils/liniments, tinctures or even creams and ointments. A consultation and follow up appointments do apply for this treatment. Consultation and medicine costs apply.
